Sheep Friendly - no mulesing
Since 2017, LANGYARNS has switched all Merino wool qualities to non-mulesed wool.
This decision ensures that the Merino wool we use comes from sheep that are not subjected to unnecessary distress or injury through mulesing. Our Merino fibres come either from certified Australian production sites or from regions where mulesing is either prohibited or unnecessary, such as South Africa or South America.
Non-mulesed Merino fibres have a higher market price globally, which also leads to higher production costs. By purchasing non-mulesed wool, you are helping to promote animal-friendly sheep farming worldwide.
